I can't bring back the time when you and me where tied at the hip. We could set our watches to the same second and know each other's foot steps. Remember our adventures up Stone Creek and the hollowed tree where we would stash liquor and tobacco we stole? I can still hear the water trickling down the rocks. If I close my eyes, I can feel the crisp cold mist and smell the moist moss that covered the large stone surrounding the hollowed tree. If I keep them closed long enough, I feel time melt away. I don't ever want to open my eyes again.
